The NEACO team utilizes an intense attention to detail, rigorous testing process, and industry knowledge to repair OEM aircraft accessories and reverse engineer PMA that meet or exceed the industry's standards. In 1989, we started Northeast Aero Compressor with the mission to be the best in the industry. Over the last three decades, we have put our mission to the test by consistently developing our knowledge base and improving our services, acquiring new capabilities year after year. As part of our core dedication to service, we continuously review and audit our procedures and processes, ensuring that all requirements set out by the FAA and other regulatory agencies have been met while being committed to the quick and accurate service that our clients have come to expect.
NEACO: A History
1987
American Airlines starts trans-pacific operations.
1988
Boeing 747 sets a new around-the-world record of 36 hours 54 minutes.
1989
NEACO is founded in Long Island, NY. Receiving FAA Unlimited Class I and Class II Rating.
1990
NEACO adds Pneumatic Department.
1991
Alaska Airlines commences services to the Soviet Union.
1992
NEACO successfully repairs and tests first Roller Bearing ACM
1993
NEACO receives first PMA Supplement for an ACM Bearing.
1994
NEACO receives supplement approval for 747 Air Bearing ACM PMAs.
1995
NEACO adds Hydraulic/Fuel Department
1996
NEACO becomes Carrier Transicold licensee for repair and manufacturing on full DC8 air conditioning system.
1997
Boeing and McDonnell Douglas complete a merger, forming The Boeing Company.
1998
NEACO successfully repairs and tests first Air Bearing ACM.
2000
JetBlue Airways commences operations.
2001
The 71-year history of Trans World Airlines (TWA) comes to an end.
2003
Concorde makes its last commercial flight, bringing the era of airliner supersonic travel to a close.
2004
SpaceShipOne is the first non-government-built spacecraft to transport a person into space and return safely to earth.
2006
NEACO receives EASA Certification.
NEACO engineers own universal Air Cycle Machine test stand that can test any ACM on market.
2009
Captain Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger makes a successful crash landing in the Hudson River.
2011
NEACO engineers develop and implement 777 TSA-MSOV Isolator Assy, test stand.
2012
NEACO receives FAA approval for first 777 Air Bearing ACM PMAs.
2015
NEACO receives THAI DCA certification.
2016
NEACO receives FAA approval for first E170, E190 Air Bearing ACM PMAs.
2017
NEACO purchases Avtron ADAS.
2019
